Every drop of rain
Three catchment tanks under the orchard hold enough monsoon rain to carry the estate through the dry months without a borewell.

Organic since 2019
No synthetic pesticide on the orchard or the kitchen garden. It cost us two hard years and the certification came in 2022.

Glass, steel and cloth from the kitchen to the spa. Amenities are refillable dispensers, not bottles, and have been since we opened.

Kitchen and garden waste returns to the orchard rows within three weeks. What can't compost is sorted for the nearest recycler in Shimla.
